Zero Emissions Vehicles Zero Emissions Vehicles are cars and motorcycles that produce no emissions during use. They generally use electric motors for propulsion, but there are other examples of ZEVs, including air-powered cars. When ZEVs are electric vehicles, electricity can come from solar panels, batteries and fuel cells- ideally charged from renewable sources. Several mass-produced electric vehicles are already on the market, and many, many more are due shortly. Examples include the 100kph Vectrix electric motorcycle, and the Tesla sports car. There are also some excellent home-brewed examples of electric race cars including the 120kph VW Beetle engineered by the HVWC. Acceptable Technologies:
